How to Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan

Your website care plan is flexible, which means you can upgrade or downgrade at any time to match your business needs. This article explains how to request a plan change, when it takes effect, and how billing is handled.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you’d like to move up to a higher plan, for example, from the Essential Plan to the Growth Plan, you can request the change through your Client Portal by submitting a ticket under “Ask a Question.”

Once I receive your request, I’ll:

  1. Confirm your new plan details and pricing.

  2. Schedule your upgrade to begin on your next billing date.

  3. Send a confirmation once your new plan is set to start.

What happens when you upgrade:

• You’ll continue on your current plan for the remainder of the month.

• Your new plan and its features (such as quarterly analytics reports, extended edit time, or additional maintenance coverage) will automatically begin with your next billing cycle once your payment is processed.

Downgrading Your Plan

If you’d like to move to a smaller plan, you can also request this through your Client Portal. Just submit a ticket under “Ask a Question” and mention that you’d like to downgrade your plan.

Once I receive your request, I’ll:

  1. Review your current plan and confirm your next billing date.

  2. Schedule your downgrade to take effect with your next renewal.

  3. Send you a confirmation once everything is updated.

What happens when you downgrade:

• You’ll keep all the features of your current plan until the end of your billing period.

• Your new plan will start automatically when your next payment is due.

• If you’re on the Growth Plan and choose to downgrade, you’ll still receive your analytics report for the quarter up to your downgrade date. However, future quarterly reports and trend comparisons will no longer be included under the Essential Plan.

I recommend staying on the Growth Plan if you’d like to keep receiving full quarterly comparisons and ongoing insights into how your website is performing and growing.

Billing and Timing

Plan changes always take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. This keeps your invoices clean and prevents any partial charges or confusion mid-month.

You’ll always receive a confirmation of your new plan and rate before the next invoice is sent.
